Jon began serving as the Senior Pastor of Kearney Bible Church in June 2024. A native of Tulsa, Oklahoma, he became a Christian just a few months after his college graduation. He was serving as a medic in the Army National Guard when he heeded the call to pastoral ministry in 1993.
Jon has earned degrees from Rogers State University (Associate of Applied Science), Tyndale Biblical Institute (Bachelor of Biblical Studies), Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (Master of Divinity), and The Master’s Seminary (Doctor of Ministry). Beyond his pastoral duties, he serves as Professor of Bible and Pastoral Ministry at Brookes Bible College and as a Chaplain for the Edgerton-Trimble Fire Protection District. He is also a Certified Biblical Counselor with the International Association of Biblical Counselors (IABC).
Jon and his wife Sharon, have been married since 1992. They have two children: Stephen, and Rachel, who is married to Josh. Their greatest joy is being able to serve the Lord together.
